Julien Auguste Eugène, ° 27.7.1874. Son of Jean and brother of Léopold Terhell (see those names). Already recorded as a photographic retoucher living with his parents in Liège, Rue des Champs, 22 in March 1894. Arrived here on 26.5.1896. Almost certainly an operator for Alfred Palatzky at this address.
1896 * Charleroi, Place du Nord, 14
Moved here on 23.10.1896. Almost certainly an operator for Alfred Palatzky at this address. Subsequently recorded as a retoucher-photographer in Liège at Rue de la Syrène, 4 in January 1899 and at Passage Lemonnier, presumably with his parents, in February 1900.
1906 - 1907 Liège - Herstal, Rue Bossuron, 25
On CVs, a final flourish to his signature could be misread an an "e", leading to the erroneous transcription "Terhelle". Recorded as a photographer in Liège - Herstal in February 1907. Transcribed "Cherhel" by one source.
1907 - 1908 Liège, Passage Lemonnier, 10-12
Also see entry for his father Jean Terhell, operating simultaneously at this address.
