° Joannes Henricus Cornelius, ° 28.2.1868. Specialised in photography on ceramics. A portrait on porcelain of Hendrik Conscience, from a negative taken by Lieven Gevaert, was "available for 1 fr. 25 c. from the publisher Jan Tresseniers" (Het Laatste Nieuws, 8.9.1893).

Recorded as a photographer at this address in January 1898 on the death certificate of his first wife. He was practising photography on porcelain at this address and looking for a partner or takeover in June 1898 (Gazet van Antwerpen, 5.6.1898). Married Adelaide Colette Norman (° Ostend, 24.11.1868) in Antwerp on 29.6.1900 when he was recorded as a photographer domiciled in Antwerp, Van Beersstraat.

On CV, "photographer publisher". He published picture postcards of the Antwerp region. Ink stamp "photographer-publisher / Hemixem", no street address, on mount dated September 1912. By November 1919, Tresseniers was advertising as a photographer on porcelain in Antwerp, Meetingstraat, 15.
