Professional body, eventually a rival to the "Fédération Nationale des Photographes Professionels de Belgique", but with no local affiliates. Founded on 10.11.1910 as "Syndicat de photographes et d'employés photographes". Founding committee members: president: Emile Bauwens; vice-president: François Breugelmans; secretary: J. Halin; treasurer: Emile Chantrain (Petites Nouvelles Photographiques, 1.1.1911). It aimed at restricting the trade of itinerant and part-time professionals, especially on Sundays, in defence of full-time studio photographers.
1912 - 1914 Bruxelles, Boulevard du Hainaut, 158 (correspondence)
Published a monthly "Bulletin Officiel". Committee in 1913: president: D. Bertholet; vice-presidents: V. Van de Cruys, B. Couprie; secretary general, J. Buys - Van Genk; deputy secretary: J.-D. Massot; treasurer: A. Gerhauser; delegate: O. Deletombe; commissioners: A. Bombeeck, F. Breugelmans. In a presidential address, transcribed in the "Bulletin Officiel" for January 1914, Bertholet stated that the organisation was entering its fifth year of existence.
