Member of the "Académie royale des sciences de Belgique". Joint author, with Adolphe Neyt (see that name), of "Nouvelles recherches sur la fécondation et la division mitosique chez l'ascaride mégalocéphale", Leipzig, Wilh. Engelmann, 1887, containing 24 photomicrographs printed in collotype from Neyt's negatives.
