First photographic publisher in Belgium, beginning with two reproductions of art works in 1854: the pediment of the "Théâtre de la Monnaie" and a portrait of King Leopold by Geefs, taken by Radoux & Papon (see those names). He displayed his photograph collection in Antwerp on 22.3.1855. They were perhaps intended for use in his publications. He left for Brussels - Saint-Josse on 11.12.1862 and disposed of his business to Goupil & Cie by December 1863.
