Printing works founded by Adolphe Van Geertruyen in 1877. Printers of the weekly paper "De Asschenaar". By 1901, the firm was almost certainly led by Adolphe's son "Odilon" Josephus Alfredus Van Geertruyen (° Puurs, 1.12.1866; + Asse, 28.10.1966), who was recorded as a printer at the birth of his children in Asse in March 1902 and July 1910. Picture postcards postmarked and dated May 1901. Some later picture postcards bear the credit "O. Van Geertruyen"; one of those dated 13.5.1911. "Drukkerij - Photographie Van Geertruyen on picture postcards and photographs from around 1914-1920, indicating the presence of a portrait studio. The Van Geertruyen family continued operating the printing works until 2002.
