Edgardus Josephus Maria, ° 7.10.1868. Initial "E." in 1906 and 1914 directories. Recorded as a shoemaker resident in Zottegem at the occasion of his wedding to Maria Elisa Bert (° Strijpen, 18.2.1870) in Zottegem on 12.1.1898. The studio was located on the third floor of a building on the corner of Rue Haute and the Grand Place. Van Wambeke’s shoe shop occupied the ground floor. Continued to operate here during the interwar period.
