Successor: Raeymackers Mlle
Adhémar Jean Charles, ° 10.5.1871. Photographic supplies. "Van Weddingen, Ad." in the 1901 directory. Arrived here on 9.1.1901. Van Weddingen was also the Belgian agent for "Transparleum", a colouring system invented by A.P. Bapaume, a French painter on glass. It offered the prospect of "earning 100 - 200 francs a month for working at home during leisure time" (La Meuse, 1.8.1901). The Brussels population registry records both that Van Weddingen left for New York [USA] on 4.11.1903 (no doubt an abortive attempt at emigration) and that he subsequently moved to Brussels - Saint-Gilles on 1.2.1904.
