Jules Guillaume Joseph, ° 10.2.1850. Ironmonger. Cameras and photographic supplies. CV mounts. Patent of 31.1.1889 and patent relating to improvements of 28.2.1889 for "a camera known as the 'Photo-Vandenschriek'". Registered a trademark on 11.2.1889 consisting of his intertwined initials J and V "to be affixed to all photographic cameras of his fabrication". Vanderschrieck also designed a field camera, c. 1900. Member of the "Club d'amateurs photographes de Belgique" ("Vanderschrieck" or "Vandenschrick") in 1903.
