Member of the photography section of the "Cercle Conservateur d’Anvers" in 1896. Member of the photography section of the "Katholieke Kring" until at least 1907; president of the section in 1900. Shareholder, together with Lieven Gevaert, in the company "Lichtbeelden en Kinema", founded in Antwerp on 12.3.1912 for the commercial exploitation of the moving image. Still a member of the ABP in 1922.
