° 24.9.1879; + 3.9.1943. Sometimes spelled "Vandewinckel". Opened a studio at no. 70, his paternal home, on 19.3.1899 (De Schelde, 8.4.1899). He moved to Ghent, Prinsenstraat, 26, on 12.12.1903, but was still advertising at this address in February 1914. Started a partnership with Juliette De Laetre (see that name) in Ghent after marrying "Adrienne" Désirée Adolphine Marthe Dispa (° Ghent, 26.10.1875; + Ghent, 7.4.1930) there on 26.1.1904. Adrienne Dispa was a sister of Marthe Becker (see that name) and was recorded as a photographer on the marriage certificate.
