Lucien Charles François, ° 28.9.1860; + 11.5.1935. Recorded as an industrial agent domiciled in Verviers, Rue du Parc at the occasion of his marriage in Verviers on 28.9.1885. He also ran a rubber goods shop at his home address, Rue du Collège, 74, the address given in ABP membership lists. Corresponding member of the "Photo-Club de Paris". His stock of negatives was acquired by Ed. Wettstein.

"The new installations [comprise] an exhibition room, a waiting room sumptuously furnished in Louis XVI style; a staircase leads up to the portrait studio" (La Meuse, 27.4.1899). In the same news report, Varlet, a member of the "Automobile Club", also claimed membership of the "Photo-Club de Paris" and of Weimar. The ABP card file gives Rue Lulay [des Fèbvres], 16, probably his home address. Subsequently recorded in Liège as a commercial representative in 1912, a "hydrolicien" [sic] (i.e. a hydraulic technician) in 1914 and a commercial traveller in 1918.
