+ 5.4.1910, aged 84. Elder brother of Auguste Vasseur (- Delmée). Landscape artist, known for his sketches and watercolours made in Wallonia, Northern France and Luxembourg. "Amongst the work displayed...the series of enlargements by Charles Vasseur: the back of the hall disappears under his collection of 42 large pictures" (Le Courrier de l'Escaut, 9.6.1897). His artworks were destroyed when Tournai came under bombardment in May 1940.
