On postcard, 1911 ca, "no branches". This was Leonie Wilmers, mother of Armand and Arthur and widow of Aloysius Verbeeck, a shopkeeper who had died in 1892. She founded the firm of A. Verbeeck & C° on 1.1.1912 with seat in Antwerp. Her business partner was a photographer Jan Janssens - see entry for John Janssens. Still operated here during World War I. Veuve A. Verbeeck still recorded at this address in 1920-1922.
