Pierre Charles Louis, ° Louvain, 28.11.1854; + Louvain, 17.9.1893. Public sale of all the studio equipment on 2.6.1876. Pierre continued to run the studio under the name Chs Verbeke - Schodts Fils, in conjunction with his sister Marie Palmyre Esmeralda (° Louvain, 4.1.1849). He married Marie-Antoinette Forain (° Louvain, 19.5.1857) on 26.6.1878. His sister Marie Palmyre married on 6.6.1885 and moved out, while the Verbeke - Forain couple continued running the studio. Member of the ABP from 10.11.1874 ("Verbeke - Schodts"). On CV, "Photographer to Mgr the Duke of Arenberg". In 1890 Pierre Charles Louis was registered as a photographer and butcher. His private address in 1890: Rue aux Tripes, 7. After his death, his widow continued to operate the studio until 10.6.1899, and then officially moved to Rue aux Tripes / Pensstraat, 7, where she was registered as a butcher.
