Paul Jean Baptiste, ° 8.7.1867. Pharmacist. Photographic supplies. Founder member of the "Société d'Astronomie d'Anvers" in 1905, becoming its vice-president in the interwar period. A telescope maker, he cut and mounted mirrors measuring 15, 20 and 30 cm. The astronomical society had a small observatory on a warehouse roof in the Antwerp docklands containing a 25 cm reflector made by Vincart.
