° 24.10.1830. He opened a studio in Koblenz [Prussia], Löhrstrasse 79, in 1866, then Koblenz, Schlossstrasse 49 in 1873. He sold this studio and moved to Boppard [D] in 1874, where he was still living around 1880. He arrived from Maastricht [NL], where he had been operating since 1885, on 19.1.1886 declaring Courtrai as his former residence. Arnold Weck briefly joined his son Paul Julius (see that name) in Courtrai, where was registered as a photographer from early February to mid-May 1887 before leaving (again) for Brussels. Arnold was registered at this address until 23.8.1887. He then went into partnership with one or more of his sons: see entry for Weck, Arnold & [ses] Fils.
