Alexandre known as Oswald, ° 7.11.1871. Recorded as a photographer domiciled in La Louvière at the occasion of his wedding in La Louvière on 29.11.1893. Patent of 18.11.1898 [O. Werder, Erquelinnes] for "an apparatus known as universal photographic intermediary". Enlarging. Copying. O. Werder was active in Jeumont [Nord, F] in the second half of the 1890s. Second prize winner in the professional category of a photography competition held in Morlanwelz - Mariemont in 1903 (Gazette de Charleroi, 10.10.1903).
