Gaston Alphonsus Ludovicus, ° 12.5.1889. Sometimes transcribed "Weyns" or "Wyns". Member of "Fotografische Kring Iris", 1913-1937, latterly in Brussels. Reported as a committee member of the "Photographische Kring / Cercle de Photographie" in 1913 (Het Handelsblad, 8.1.1913). Wijns, subsequently resident in Brussels, was active as a photographer in the Belgian Army from 1919 and then in the medical faculty at "Université Libre de Bruxelles" from 1934.
