Won first prize in the category "most beautiful collection" in a competition organised by the "Cercle Photographique de Schaerbeek" in 1906. His photograph titled "Le Forgeron" (from one of the latter Cercle's yearly competitions) was published in the "Revue Internationale de Photographie" in March 1908.
