Professional organisation, the purpose of which was "to raise and improve the status of [professional] photographers". The first local bodies to join the national federation were Brussels, Antwerp and Namur. In March 1913 Charleroi, Ghent and Courtrai - Tournai (see relevant entries) decided to officially join. In 1912, secretary: Joseph Buys - Van Genk. In 1913: president: G. Hermans; vice-presidents: Ed. Sacré and E. Deton - Cornand; secretary: R. Pardon; deputy secretary: F. Ginckels; treasurer: J. Piron; assessor: F. Béguin. Monthly meetings at this address. By 1919, the group was being run out of Antwerp by F. Ginckels with the secretariat's address sharing that of Ginckels' studio, Rue Brederode, 106. On letterhead of 1919, "Established in 1911", perhaps referring to the local precursor affiliates.
