Prudent Henri, ° 4.6.1851; + 18.11.1919. At his wedding in Geel in January 1877, recorded as a house painter. Still advertising as a painter and paint seller in March 1880. Reported to have received instruction in photography in Antwerp and Brussels. Studio opening announced in December 1889. One of Sledsens’ advertisements in October 1899 mentions that Jules Vandenschrieck’s firm (see that name) was his supplier (Nieuwsblad van Gheel, 7.10.1899).
