Constant Casimir Wante (° Oudenaarde, 23.02.1815; + Ghent, 3.10.1883) was a landscape painter in Ghent from 1838 onwards and drawing master at the State Secondary School in Ghent and at the provincial "Institut normal". A certain Angelus Vandenabeele (° ?, 14.2.1831; + Ghent, 8.3.1878) was resident in Ghent. The partnership announced publication of a series of half-plate prints "Châteaux et maisons de campagne des Flandres" in 1869 with text by F. De Potter and Brouchart; none have been located.

There are CVs with "Cst Wante" alone at no. 64, 1878 ca. On CV, "The studio has been built on ground level in a garden of such expanse that it is possible to photograph horses & carriages, as well as the largest groups."
